Hayley Mills-Styles: Make a flag-Take a flag textile workshop
Inspired by the Nurture exhibition, join textile artist Hayley Mills-Styles in this hand embroidery poetry workshop.
Whilst the feeding chair was at Leeds Art Gallery, a series of workshops were run to collectively create a floor flag manifesto for care and feeding including breastfeeding. We are now lucky enough to continue sharing the work that was created in our exhibition ’Nurture’.
Inspired by the Nurture exhibition, join textile artist Hayley Mills-Styles in this hand embroidery poetry workshop. Hayley will guide you through the basics of hand embroidery, transferring a piece of writing onto your fabric ready to stitch. You will learn some simple hand embroidery stitches that create beautiful handwritten embroidery.
