Making Myself // Alt Life Drawing
Adults alternative life drawing workshop as part of ‘See me Differently’-a collection of workshops where we explore how we view ourselves through interactive alternative life drawing.
When: Saturday 9th November
Times: 1pm-3pm
Where: Woodend Gallery, The Crescent, Scarborough, YO11 2PW.
In response to Jason Beside the Sea, a colourful explosion of Jason’s signature printed wallpaper and giant inflatable sculptures, we as budding artists think about how we can represent ourselves creatively.
Everyone will be encouraged to draw around themselves on a large piece of paper. We will then think about how we can all fill our silhouettes with drawings, patterns and images that reflect individual personality and identity.
There will be music played that has been inspired by the exhibition to encourage the creative flow of participants and participants are encouraged to bring a song choice to share with the group.
There will be access to the Jason Wilsher-Mills exhibition during the workshop to draw inspiration.
Participants can choose to do a smaller work around their hands / feet if they wish to create something smaller to take home.
